Nothing inspires you to set up a new website, like a message saying your old free one is being closed down and the project phased out. Well here goes, the new, also free website. Hoping that old saying is really true, you know - of how a photograph is supposed to speak a heap of words, so I don't have to write any captions or descriptions.

 

When it comes to photography I am as avid as the next guy, but you really don't need every gadget and piece of gear available, to do a decent job. I refuse to fall for all the marketing, making you think you need the latest update and upgrade or your photography will not be successful. I normally have one camera body, with mostly one generic lens with me. It is carried around in a student backpack, so that covers my equipment for those who wondered. When I'm on location I don't focus on the camera in my hand, but on the subject matter. Lastly, if you wanted to know, I shoot jpeg, not raw - I don't see the point.

 

Everybody always has a lot to say about dirty work, dirty places, factories that pollute the surroundings etc. That is undesirable indeed, but I have also seen too many places where those factories closed and the devastation it caused the people living in those same surroundings. The broken lives, the sadness, utter dispair and poverty that ensues.

 

We need to go out and work, provide, ply our trade.
